I should like to let you know we have recently returned from a short 4 night stay in this most wonderful sanctuary of peace and loveliness.
We have been to Venice before but to go Self Catering in somewhere in such perfect condition, in such a quiet residential area yet only 1 minutes walk from the Grand Canal and close to everything going on was wonderful.
Having just gone through the trials of A levels and GCSEs whilst setting up a new business, the peace of the holiday was brilliant.
I hope we have the opportunity to return at a later date.

Thank you very much for this lovely apartment in the San Giacomo area. We had a wonderful week in Venice and we loved your apartment, excellently provided and tastily furnished. We made several journeys through Venice by “vaporetto” and walking. We visited several churches and enjoyed the fantastic Mosaico especially of Torcello. A delightful apartment, just perfect for our family of 4. The apartment itself was very pretty, and thoughtfully presented with everything we could have needed, and the courtyard was wonderful, a little oasis of calm at the end of each exciting day. We liked the Santa Croce area too – a very local flavour with the nearest Campo full of children playing football and parents chatting in the afternoons after school, and with some lovely restaurants and ice cream parlours just a few minutes walk away. Your service  was impeccable. We will definitely book your apartment again, and have already been recommending it to friends.

We wanted to let you know how very much we enjoyed our stay in your delightful Garden Apartment in Sante Croce. We were made very welcome by Nicoletta who takes very good care of the apartment, it was immaculate. The great locality meant that we were able to shop locally and at the Rialto Market and enjoy our midday meal in the wonderful garden, in between visiting lots of Venice’s many sights. You are right, Venice is amazing and seems to have even more to offer each time we return. Thank you so much for allowing us to move our stay on a week when we found out we were unable to travel on the original date. We were very impressed with your speed and efficiency.

I just wanted to write and let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at the Santa Croce Giardino apartment. The garden was beautiful and a welcome respite from the heat and busier areas of Venice and everything we could need was provided to make a home from home. I’m reluctant to recommend it too much as I’d love to be able to rent it out again in the future. We spent many a happy day enjoying the scent of jasmine in the garden. The area was peaceful in a residential area and felt more like the real Venice. Easy to get to from the station (and no bridges for the suitcase to navigate) and the apartment was lovely. A perfect holiday thank you and hopefully we will return!

I thought I should email you to say how much we enjoyed our stay in Venice. My sister I thought that it was a delightful city – so much to see and do that we will have to make a return trip one day. Also, the apartment is absolutely lovely and we so enjoyed the garden. It is in a great location, close to a vaporetto stop and to shops and restaurants – couldn’t be better really. Maybe we will make a return visit or to another of your apartments in San Polo/Santa Croce.

My family greatly enjoyed our stay in the lovely house in Venice taking all three apartments (Giardino, Giardino Due, Terrazza) much the nicest we have ever rented. We were impressed with the fact that the flats were so well furnished and equipped – and also immaculately clean, so thanks to Nicoletta for that. We all, especially the children, loved having such a large and beautiful garden.

All eight of us enjoyed staying in your apartments (Giardino – Giardino Due – Terrazza) enormously. We were touched and delighted by the welcome which greeted us, and we loved the apartments and their decor. Your Nicoletta was very kind and helpful, and she provided me with some challenging vocabulary exercises as she explained the whereabouts of fridges, washing machines and central heating controls!

Our planes, taxis, arrivals and departures all went perfectly smoothly, and we were immediately able to relax in our comfortable apartments. We all had an extremely happy week, and I was asked to write on behalf of the whole party.

The apartment in Santa Croce was a complete delight. The garden fabulous and the service/help brilliant. We were not the easiest customers with changes to our travel plans, a very young child, delayed flights etc, but found you  and Nicoletta absolutely superb. Venice is a dream destination anyway, but staying in this tranquil apartment with such a huge garden made it a total joy. Having a very active toddler it was wonderful to be able to relax while he pottered around the garden in total safety. The whole trip was such as success that we stayed on an extra three days. The quality of the apartment certainly justified the cost – I’ve never rented a self-catering apartment before that actually has proper cooking utensils: knives that cut, pans that aren’t burnt. Very handy for the Rialto markets too. We will be returning.

We have just returned from a marvellous holiday in Venice spent at the Santa Croce Giardino apartment. It was beautifully appointed, extremely clean and I thank you for the warm welcome, and chocs for our children, and for your great deal of time  advising us on how to get to the Dolomites where we spent the following week;  we felt as though we were your personal guests staying at your own house.

My family and I have rented many houses and apartments over the years, including Landmark and National Trust properties. These apartments have been the nicest so far – many congratulations to you.
