APARTMENT DESCRIPTION

Decorated in Venetian style, this bijou 2 bedroom apartment boasts fabulous views over the gardens of the wonderful Palazzo Papadopoli now the Aman Resort Hotel. It is in a great location, quiet and tranquil yet close to the Rialto and seconds away from Campo San Polo. The San Silvestro vaporetto stop on the Grand Canal is only two minutes away.

The apartment is on the second floor of a 16th century house and has been refurbished to a very good standard, retaining all the original features like the exquisite beamed ceilings, mixing it with furniture hand painted by Venetian artisans. Light pours in from the various windows throughout the apartment during the day, brightening up all the rooms and it is equally cosy at night.

There is a living/dining room with a well equipped kitchen area, double bedroom (the double bed can be made up as twin beds for extra flexibility), single bedroom and bathroom  (shower).

The main feature about both this and the San Polo Terrazzino apartment in the same house  is the care and attention that we regularly and unfailingly give to making sure the apartment is always in tip top condition and complete with everything necessary for comfortable living even if only for a short stay.

It can be rented just on its own or in conjunction with the other apartment, San Polo Terrazzino on the 3rd and 4th floor, to make an perfect combination for an extended family group who still want some privacy. Ideal for just two or four guests or for family parties -­ the best of both worlds! The house has only these two apartments, so privacy is assured.

Thank you very much for a comfortable and most enjoyable stay in Venice last week in San Polo Due.  We had a wonderful time,apart from  the hoardes of visitors  at some sights such as Burano, but mostly we managed to find  quiet almost tourist free  places to explore that we had never  visited before. And the weather was good which is a huge bonus for us Brits!

Heard an amazing Monteverdi concert at Scuola di Rocco last evening. I was unprepared for how very beautiful Venice is. Today we are in Burano and Murano which we find charming. Such exquisite artistry-  the lace and the glass.Thank you again so much. You have added enjoyment and ease to this trip with your assistance and recommendations.

Just a note to say that we enjoyed our recent visit to Venice and staying in your apartment.

We thought the location was good, an easy walk to the Rialto Mercato.  We liked the Cicchetti bars including Banco Giro and of course the market around there.  The Coop is also a good asset so close by.  We were disappointed that some of the places we like to eat were closed for August, but then we did decide to come at the last minute.

The Damien Hirst exhibition was awesome – such a grand exhibition, and the settings also very good.

I don’t know when we will come to Venice again but will be in touch when we do .

We would like to say what a truly great apartment San Polo Due turned out to be, along with the owner. The apartment is excellent in every way, and in a very good location for all sorts of things that one requires. We would have no hesitation in recommending it to any of our friends who may wish to go to Venice. The owner had left a warm welcome on our arrival; we thought this was a lovely touch and says a lot about her personality. Nicoletta, too, was very sweet and we had no problems with the language! Not only were we able to go straight to the apartment on our arrival, but we were able to leave our bags down by the front door and thus have a great final day without hauling them around with us. These two ‘extras’ enabled us to have eight full days! Many thanks again for everything.
